Building on the clean, light and versatile design of the Harbour Chair, Norm Architects are expanding the Harbour family with the elegant Harbour Column Table. We sought to create a column table that would solve the issue of blending in and standing out,” says Norm Architects' Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen. In other words, a design with a strong profile, yet the ability to work in harmony with surroundings of all styles.

The Harbour Column Table features a simple tabletop paired with a subtle yet sophisticated clover-shaped column profile: the same one you’ll see in the new swivel version of the Harbour Chair. The pairing gives the modern design a classic, exclusive feel. While the table was originally designed for the Harbour Chair, it also works beautifully with other seating types and styles. At the heart of the Harbour family, after all, is a desire to meet our constantly evolving needs with adaptability and grace.

At Audo Space, Audo’s testing ground for new products and a creative hub that’s part office, part café, and part co-working space, the Harbour Column Table has demonstrated an exceptional ability to meet every functional demand, while also pleasing the senses with its balanced, slim silhouette and tactility. The table is available with both round and rectangular tabletops, and in three heights, so finding the right one for your space is easy. You just might wonder how you managed without it.

The Harbour Column Table is available with four tabletop sizes: three round, one rectangular. Each can be crafted in charcoal linoleum, black oak veneer, or off white marble to suit your space and design preferences. The column base is constructed in steel and aluminum in a black powder-coated finish, with dining, counter and bar heights to fit numerous needs in homes, workplaces, cafés, lobbies, the possibilities are endless. Mix and match bases and tabletops to create your ideal pairing.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Aleksandar Lazic Norm Architects

Studio Aleksandar Lazic, based in Denmark, is led by Aleksandar Lazic, who holds a Master's degree in Engineering with a specialisation in product development. This expertise is evident in his design process, where he skillfully balances the visionary aspects of design with meticulous execution in manufacturing. Despite the studio’s relatively recent establishment, Aleksandar has dedicated a decade to developing furniture for some of the most prestigious brands in the Danish design industry. Aleksandar’s designs originate from a functional perspective – identifying a need and devising effective solutions. With a strong manufacturing background, his visual language is precise and characterized by his thoughtful selection of materials, chosen for their visual appeal, functionality and compatibility with intended manufacturing methods. His material palette focuses on natural materials, which develop their own unique story through patina over time, adding character and depth to the pieces. His ultimate goal is to create timeless objects that grow more beautiful with use, merging the aesthetic traditions of the past with contemporary ideas about form and function.
