Less is more
When tasked with creating iconic furniture designs that were minimalist, comfortable and instantly recognizable, the Stockholm-based, Taiwanese design studio, Afteroom, devised their eponymous furniture series. Defined by this ‘less is more’ aesthetic, the Afteroom Collection profiles honest materials – wood veneer, powder-coated metal, fabric upholstery and recycled plastic – in a timelessly elegant series furniture including chairs, coat hangers and stools.

We embraced the challenge of designing something minimalistic with clean lines, without in any way compromising its comfort.
The coat hanger is a simple yet sophisticated hanging system for coats, clothes or accessories and is easily fixed to the wall, with all screws hidden to compliment the minimalistic and clean aesthetic.
