Cecilia Armand

Designer and artist Cecilia Armand crafts sculptural and functional one-of-a-kind objects by hand from her studio in Stockholm, Sweden. Her interest in art and interior design began at a young age. Always creating in one way or another, after a successful career in PR and advertising she longed to return to crafting with her hands. She began sculpting in clay as a hobby and soon realised that she had found her calling. “I create timeless objects that are visually and aesthetically pleasing but fulfil a function, both physically and emotionally,” she says. Exploring different textures and combining soft and hard shapes, she is drawn to opposites and the possibilities they offer. Her unique works are expressive, conveying a sense of poetry and personality.
