About Audo
Audo Copenhagen — or simply Audo, as it is more commonly known — is a contemporary design brand rooted in Danish heritage that offers furniture, lighting and accessories to international collectors and customers. Audo seamlessly integrates these elements to create beautiful, holistic spaces where design, functionality and atmosphere come together in perfect harmony.
The brand simultaneously reflects a
century of Danish craftsmanship with a modern, global outlook. Audo pieces can be found inside residences, hotels, restaurants and offices worldwide, connecting design communities across disparate continents. Always evolving, Audo’s extensive yet thoughtful collections exemplify the brand’s ongoing commitment to communal innovation and creativity.

A Sense of Community
Audo operates from the belief that wherever there’s space, there’s an opportunity to nurture community. The brand’s public space in Copenhagen, Audo House, epitomises this belief. Similarly, Audo’s design process and the products that arise from it are guided by the community, for the community. Through Audo’s collaborations, leading architects and designers are given the space to conceive new ideas and forms, with the goal to create long-lasting partnerships and products. Under these conditions, design becomes
a catalyst for creativity and communal innovation.
“Our design process is a collective journey based on the relationships we build with our design community, and the creativity we nurture together. Each partnership allows us to explore new ideas and interpretations.” — Design & Brand Director, Joachim Kornbek Engell-Hansen.
Soft Minimalism
Audo’s aesthetic philosophy, often referred to as “Soft Minimalism,” is characterized by clean lines, a sense of calm, subtle strength, earthy tones, and natural materials crafted with the utmost respect. Synonymous with timelessness, Soft Minimalism ensures that each piece is made to last for decades, seamlessly moving through diverse architectural spaces and chapters of life. This philosophy is reflected across Audo’s entire range, including classic designs by Mogens Lassen, Flemming Lassen, Vilhelm Lauritzen and Ib Kofod-Larsen to contemporary creations by leading designers such as Colin King, Danielle Siggerud and Norm Architects—each embodying timeless elegance.
“Soft Minimalism is at the core of Audo’s identity. It’s about creating designs that effortlessly blend into the spaces of today, while maintaining a strong connection to the values and simplicity that are inherent to classic Danish design.” — Design & Brand Director, Joachim Kornbek Engell-Hansen.

Audo House: Our Home
Through Audo House — the brand’s physical home in Copenhagen — the design community is invited to share a space for connection, inspiration and idea generation. Located inside a singular, heritage building, Audo House is a dynamic hub that includes a café and restaurant, a concept shop showcasing Audo design collections, event facilities, an exclusive hotel called “Audo Residence”, and Audo’s headquarters. In addition to Audo House, visitors are welcomed into showrooms around the world.
“Our mission is to continually push the boundaries of design by fostering meaningful connections and creating spaces where ideas can flourish. The future presents endless possibilities, and we are excited to explore them alongside our global community." — Design & Brand Director, Joachim Kornbek Engell-Hansen.
Our Desire
Audo Copenhagen designs can be found in spaces around the world. We envision a world where we share the magic of these designs and icons with new generations, growing a worldwide sense of community through remarkable design and communal experiences.
